Juliet Lyons is a musician without borders.  Just as she can’t be defined by or tied to one place, she can’t be defined by or tied to one genre.  As a singer and as a writer, Juliet’s love of exploration and diversity translates to cross-genre, cross-cultural music.  With influences from Bob Marley to Bollywood, Josh Groban to Tarkan, Billy Idol to Sara Bareilles, Juliet’s musical works are journeys unto themselves.

Described as having “one of the most evocative and ethereal voices I’ve ever heard,” (Lea Ann Fessenden, Caribbean Examiner), Juliet began her musical journey as a singer.  Some stops along the way:

Albuquerque: Juliet’s hometown, where she grew up performing in musicals with New Mexico's leading theatre company, ACLOA/Musical Theatre Southwest

Kansas City:  Schooling continued at UMKC Conservatory of Music, where she received a Bachelor of Music-Vocal Performance, with honors, as well as a Bachelor of Music Education-Choral.

LA:  Juliet stayed steadily active in the recording scene doing session work, demos, and guest vocals. She also performed professionally in musicals, and was a much sought-after teacher of private voice lessons at the "South Bay's Favorite Music School," Manhattan Beach Music and Voice.  She also received her first songwriting accolade with a runner up position in VH1’s Song Of The Year competition.

At Sea:  Performed around the world as a headliner and lead singer onboard luxury cruise ships including Holland America, Renaissance Cruises, and Radisson Seven Seas.

St. Lucia:  Performed around the island as part of a jazz band and country band.  Also released her New Age/Classical Pop album, My Siren Song, with coverage on St. Lucian national television and international airplay.  The cut “Peace Within” was nominated for a Hollywood Music In Media Award 2009 (Best Song - New Age/Ambient category).  Juliet signed a composer deal for the US production company Studio 51.

India:  Began studying Carnatic music, a continued pursuit.

The Bahamas:  Juliet’s list of published songs and film and TV credits continues to grow with a recent placement on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars.  She is also currently working on a Reggae EP.  The first cut from the album, "The Innocent," was nominated for a Hollywood Music In Media award 2011 in the Best Reggae song category.
